Kaden Tyler Sun

Welcome to this world, little Kaden! I went into labor on Friday night, 4-5 cm dialated. My water broke at about 3 am. After a push or two, the doctor came. Within one contraction, I pushed and whoosh, Kaden came out. :) He weighed in at 6 lbs. 2 oz, measuring 19 inches long.

Things have been good. Kylie loves her little brother and constantly points at him and says, "babe" and also the word "eyes". She can say those words pretty good, so she's constantly repeating herself when she sees the baby. Kylie has been adjusting pretty well with the new addition in the family, but her eating habits are getting worse. She uses the word "no" a lot and loves to get junk food from the cabinet herself. Oh boy. I think she has hit the terrible two's. Mark has been great...he's been keeping her occupied by taking her out and running errands. That way, she won't be so stir-crazy at home all day long.

As far as Kaden, he's been eating well and sleeping well. I'm really enjoying this time when I can hold him to sleep, but I haven't held him nearly as much as I held Kylie when she was just born. There's just so much to do, especially when you have a toodler to look after.

We took a bunch of pictures, but I'm only going to post a few, since I have to go feed Kaden soon! Enjoy! Thank you for coming by to see Kaden!

Carolyn & Scott came to visit us at the hospital...

Here we are...a completed family of four.

Also, the Hsu's came over to visit. We didn't get a family picture of them with Kaden, but here's a picture of Kylie and Evan playing at the park.

I'm two and a half years old and I'm always exploring and testing new boundaries. When I want something, I would repeat it over and over again even if my mommy and daddy says no. Sometimes I'll be okay with it and other times, I have to let it out. Everytime I cry, I have to get a kleenex to wipe my face. I love to read Brown Bear, My World, and winnie the pooh and little people board books. I love going to the park and going up and down the slide. My favorite things to do now is bouncing and going on daddy's shoulders.

kaden:
I'm 8 months old right now and I take 2 two-hour naps during the day. My bedtime is around 8 and I'd wake up once to eat and then fall back asleep again. I love to look at my sister bounce around. It makes me laugh. I'm learning to sit up on my own, but sometimes I get lazy and fall back down. I love to bounce in the exersaucer and roll everywhere when I'm on the floor. I don't have any teeth yet, but my gums are very sore, so I tend to put whatever I can grab in my mouth. I know how to kiss by bumping my forehead. Overall, I'm happy all the time!
